Stephan de Barse is the EVP of o9 Solutions, driving digital transformation with some of the leading Fortune-500 companies. Promoted to Executive Vice President for the Global Go-To-Market Practice of o9 Solutions, his entrepreneurial spirit, cross-industry expertise and sound business sense contributed to the organization’s exponential growth — with o9 ultimately becoming a unicorn in April 2020.
Founded in 2009, o9 is an AI-enabled platform providing solutions for operations and business planning. Its offerings include demand forecasting, commercial planning, supply chain planning, and Integrated Business Planning, among others.
As a former Global Sales and Operations Director at Navico (Goldman Sachs owned manufacturer in Marine Electronics), Stephan has developed solid expertise on the key differentiators of Supply Chain software providers and the planning capabilities needed to achieve long-term business objectives. By combining high energy and empathic social skills with his analytical capabilities, he played a critical role in the digital transformation of some of the top Fortune 500 companies like Nestlé, Pirelli, ABInBev and others.
Committed to supporting large organizations in becoming more agile and resilient after the COVID pandemic, he launched the AIM10x community. This community consists of Industry Executives, Innovators and offers unique events, webinars, etc. The most recent series of online events rapidly became viral on social media, with thousands of Supply Chain professionals and consultants joining from all over the world on a weekly basis.
Stephan holds a BSc and MSc in Accountancy and an Executive Master of Finance and Control from Nyenrode Business University (The Netherlands). In addition, Stephan holds an Executive MBA degree at BI Norwegian Business School which comprises modules at UC Berkeley Haas, California, USA and Nan Yang University of Singapore.
