Dave Malenfant is a strategic supply chain operations leader with over 35 years of experience in driving change and performance improvement across the supply chain. After selling his successful business consulting firm, Signature Consultants Inc in 1993, he joined Alcon Laboratories, where he steadily advanced through several leadership roles before becoming the Vice President of Global Supply Chain in 2005. Since 2014, Dave has been building a global community of operations and supply chain management leaders and professionals in the Biotech, Biopharma, and Biomedical device industries for the Biotech Supply Management Alliance (BSMA). Four years ago, his passion for talent development and career planning led him to join the Center for Supply Chain Innovation at Texas Christian University, where he soon became the Director of Outreach and Partnerships.
Dave’s leadership and performance excellence is demonstrated by capturing new business opportunities, creating best-in-class processes, innovating operational improvements, eliminating costs, and engaging teams.

He also serves as Executive Vice President, Industry Liaison and Talent Development, for the Biotech Supply Management Alliance. He holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Windsor in Canada.
